Documents we typically ask for
- A copy of your passport, including your Vietnam visa or exemption pages, or your temporary residence card
- For people living in Vietnam: proof of your temporary residence (see our guide to temporary residence registration in Hanoi)
- For people abroad: a notarized authorization letter and a copy of the agent's ID, which we prepare with you
- Details of your stays in Vietnam, such as past addresses and dates
The exact list depends on your case and on the authority's current rules. We confirm it when you contact us.
The certificate is issued in Vietnamese only. For use abroad you will usually need a translation plus an apostille or consular legalization, depending on the destination country. We can handle these together with the certificate. Time limits apply too, for example some authorities only accept a certificate issued within the last 6 months.
