What is an apostille?

An apostille is a single certificate that makes a Vietnamese public document valid for use abroad, in a country that is party to the Hague Apostille Convention. It replaces the old multi-step consular legalization. Vietnam joined the Convention on 11 September 2026.

Typical documents include birth and marriage certificates, criminal record certificates, diplomas and transcripts, and powers of attorney.

How it works

  2. We confirm the route and the priceApostille or consular legalization, and anything that must be done first. You approve the total before we start.
  3. We handle the processWe prepare and submit your document and keep you updated.
  4. You receive your documentWith the apostille attached, ready to use abroad. Maximum 10 working days; if you need it sooner, contact us directly.
Destination country matters

Apostilles work between Convention member countries. For Germany, Austria, the Czech Republic and any non-member country you need consular legalization instead. Tell us the destination and we will point you to the right one. Notarization, if your document needs it first, is confirmed in your quote.

Frequently asked questions

What does “per stamp” mean?
You pay 800,000 VND for each apostille stamp, one stamp per document. If you have three documents to apostille, that is three stamps.
What do I need to send you?
Tell us what the document is, which country it is for and who will receive it. We confirm that an apostille is the right route, what has to be done first, and the total price before we start.
Is an apostille accepted in every country?
No. It works between member countries of the Hague Apostille Convention. Vietnam became a member on 11 September 2026. Germany, Austria and the Czech Republic objected to Vietnam's accession, and non-member countries still require consular legalization, which we also handle.
How long does it take?
Up to 10 working days. If you need it sooner, contact us directly and we will tell you what is possible.
Does the apostille prove that my document is genuine?
An apostille confirms the signature, the capacity of the signer and the seal on a public document. It does not certify the content, and the receiving agency may still check it.
